The study society has a total land area of approximately 386.2 with different sectors having landuse classification as residential, commercial, office and education. It located close to city center and airport. It offers wide range of luxury villas and homes provided with all the necessities required to live a quality life. Canyon Views provides easy access to facilities like community center, parks, retails, mosques, schools and other recreational activities.
The study development is located near junction of two the principal highways of Islamabad and Rawalpindi; i.e. Islamabad Expressway and National highway 5; the location of this society plays a vital role in establishing the fact for conducting a traffic impact study which would not only evaluate the effects of such a society but will also propose a recommended solution to optimize the traffic system for both; facility and roadway users.
The purpose of this study is to determine the potential impact to the adjacent and surrounding transportation systems caused due to traffic attracted by the proposed development and possible solutions and alternatives to these issues. Scope of service for this project includes,
