Level of service (LOS) is a qualitative measure used to relate the quality of traffic service. LOS is used to analyze highways by categorizing traffic flow and assigning quality levels of traffic based on performance measure like speed, density, etc.
The activities performed for this projects are; Turning movement count surveys, Midblock count surveys, Intersection count surveys, Intersection capacity analysis, Travel demand studies, Traffic analysis & simulation (micro scale), Geometric improvement study, vetting of existing traffic management plan, suggestions for efficient alternatives.
