This project deals with the traffic impact study of the proposed construction of an apartment building at the address of Plot No. 15/1 & 15/2 SB-1 Saddar Bazar Quarter, Karachi.
The proposed building would be constructed on plot of size 1,844 Square yard. It has Basement and Ground floor which is purely dedicated for commercial use. It is a 16 floor building, out of which 1st to 3rd floor and 4th to 6th floor are dedicated for Public and Private Parking, respectively. The remaining 7th to 16th floors comprises of 2-bed Residential Apartments. The Roof of the building is designated as recreational area which comprises of Kids Play Area and a Gymnasium.
Considering dense population of the vicinity and surrounding markets, connecting with complex road network make it necessary to conduct traffic impact study of the building which would evaluate the effects of building with recommended solutions.
This study evaluates the effects of Highrise residential building development on the transportation network within the CBD area of Karachi. It identifies existing traffic conditions with combined impact on the existing and future roadway system.
